PETER BRIGHT IS A FORMER COMPETITIVE SWIMMER. WHILE TRAINING FOR TRIATHLONS, AN INJURY CHANGED HIS GAME PLAN.
Peter's role as a swimming instructor at Menai Swim Academy from 2003 to 2009 led him to mentor fellow swimmers, and after a back injury in 2008 his involvement in sport and fitness saw Peter course-correct and attain his Diploma in Fitness. ​
Joining the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust Stadium in 2010, Peter was quickly promoted to Operations Supervisor spending nine years maintaining the stadium's gym, pool, spa and sport facilities.
As Work Health and Safety Representative, he thoroughly rewrote the stadium's Safe Work Method Statements over a ten week duration and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in commercial safety. ​​
​Peter was selected to consult with the project management team for the site redevelopment of the Allianz Stadium complex.
In this role, he gained valuable experience in consulting with architects and engineers to create optimal layouts tailored to the specific needs of clients.​ In late 2018, Peter and his family relocated from Sydney's inner west to Camden. His expertise in the industry attracted the attention of local aquatic facilities.​
In 2020, Peter founded Bright Pool Services as a mobile commercial pool maintenance company with a single commercial client and a small van.
Driven by a commitment to integrity, he has earned the trust of his residential and commercial clients across Sydney and the Southern Highlands. His reputation for delivering expert advice and outstanding results is a reflection of his personal attributes and disciplined sensible approach.
Peter has expanded into residential servicing and added to his team to facilitate the growth.

After a quick transition, Adam has taken on residential servicing and maintenance and Bright Pool Services continues to be a reputable and sought-after service in the residential pool care industry.

​Commercially, Bright Pool Services has enjoyed remarkable sucess.
As of 2023, Peter and his team maintain school aquatic facilities across Sydney's Eastern suburbs, Greater Sydney, Wollongong and the Southern Highlands. Along with these, the team proudly maintains hospital hydrotherapy pools, gyms, learn to swim facilities as well as sports and country clubs.
OPENING OF THE CAMDEN POOL SHOP
​​​​In October 2024, Peter cut the ribbon on the Camden Pool Shop - a bricks and mortar home for Bright Pool Services. While Peter did not initially set out to run a pool shop, the warehouse provided an opportunity to connect with local residents. The team provides free pool water testing, stock a range of pool chemicals and equipment and have developed a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for customers to visit when they are looking for anything pool-related. ​
In September 2025, Bright Pool Services' Camden Pool Shop celebrated its 1st birthday with food and drinks, live music and prizes and giveaways.
In 2025, Bright Pool Services will celebrate its fifth year in operation. ​
