St George and Sutherland Shire Leader
Residents local to the Peakhurst West Pool are enjoying the view as they backstroke through the water, as the new roof is complete! The facility also underwent some bathroom renovations with the addition of an ambulent toilet and shower facility in the building.
​
We performed an acid wash of both the 25m and infants pool, refilled and rebalanced the water chemistry ready for community hirers to resume their activities on Saturday, November 1.
​
The Department of Education has a tender procurement underway and
we are once again providing interim management until a private operator is selected.

Featured in The St George & Sutherland Shire's Leader, Deputy Premier The Hon. Prue Car MP visited the Peakhurst Pool facility to announce refurbishments.
Bright Pool Services operates this facility on behalf of the Education Department.

Another feature in Australasia Leisure Management! This time it was all about our interim management at the Peakhurst West Pool and visit from Olympian Elijah Winnington. The Peakhurst Amateur Swim Club hosted a technique session run by Elijah and a group of lucky swim club members were put through their paces with the Olympian.

Schools NSW Infrastructure
We are excited to announce that from January 2025 we will be managing the operations of the Peakhurst West Pool facility, located adjacent to Peakhurst West Public School. ​​
​
​In addition to our routine water chemistry testing and pool maintenance as official department contractors, we will provide additional operational supervision and maintenance to ensure current swimming groups and pool users can continue to enjoy the safe use of the swimming pool.
