We are proud to provide operations management to this facility on behalf of the NSW Department of Education. This historic community pool is beloved by those who use it, and we ensure the facility runs to industry standard so that it may continue to be enjoyed by the local community.

Bright Pool Services General Manager Jane Bright and The Hon. Prue Car MP, Deputy Premier of NSW, announce major refurbishments to the facility in April 2025. The Peakhurst West Pool was built by the local community and boasts a 60-year history.

OUR PARTNERS AND CLIENTS TRUST US TO PROVIDE QUALITY FACILITY MANAGEMENT

On behalf of Peakhurst Amateur Swimming Club, I would like to state our support of Peter and Jane Bright of Bright Pool Services. The Club really appreciates the extremely professional and co-operative manner in which they are carrying out the operation of Peakhurst West Swimming Pool.

Since taking over the management of the pool premises in January 2025, both Peter and Jane have demonstrated a real passion for the pool and its environment and the safety of all users. Jane, in particular, has gone above and beyond what is required to ensure that the pool, change rooms, pool deck, office and outside areas are maintained in a risk-free and safe manner. This is also evident by the overall cleanliness of the pool environment.

PASC’s more than 110 members, many of whom are from non-English speaking backgrounds (which also includes its early morning squad members and learn to swim parents), have developed a very friendly, co-operative relationship with the Brights. Both Peter and Jane exercise superior interpersonal communications and no issue is too small for them to act upon.

Safety risks that Jane has identified are being promptly addressed and the safety of pool users and visitors appears to be paramount in any decisions she makes about the pool operation.

I have found that these decisions are always promptly communicated to the pool hirers who may be impacted.

Jane is present during our Club times on Saturday and early morning squad training and has been adopted as an honorary Club member due to her friendliness and her willingness to listen and respond to any concerns.

PASC is very supportive of the Department of Education in their appointment of Bright Pool Services as interim pool management. They have proven to be very professional in the management and operation of the Peakhurst West Swimming Pool.
